Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an ICU travel assignment in The Dalles, Oregon. This 13-week contract starts 11/23/2026 with a weekly pay range of $2,202–$2,339 and an approximate 36-hour week in 12-hour shifts within a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with ICU/critical care experience, are willing to travel, and can collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making within the scope of practice.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• This position is represented by the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA).
