Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel assignment in Seaford, Delaware. The ICU RN will provide continuous monitoring, implement care plans, and educate patients and families in a dynamic acute care setting.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, NIH Stroke Scale cert during orientation, and at least 2 years ICU experience. Float rotation may be required, with 12-hour days and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the resident state with license submission when required.
• ACLS within 12 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous monitoring and specialized care for ICU patients.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and treatment plans.
• Maintain medication inventories and assist with distribution.
• Operate and utilize Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and equipment.
