Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for ICU duties in Louisville, Kentucky. This travel assignment offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts and a 13-week duration with comprehensive benefits materializing through the agency.

Requirements include an active RN license, nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of ICU experience. Additional client-specific criteria may apply, with housing or housing allowance and travel reimbursements available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
• Other client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure functioning of life-support equipment (e.g., ventilators).
• Monitor vital signs and detect signs of distress.
• Administer meds, IVs, and catheters as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
