Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse in Hastings, Nebraska. The role is a 13-week travel assignment based on 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts in an ICU setting.

The RN will assess and monitor critically ill patients, document care plans, and collaborate with physicians and families. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and may hold NIH certification.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH certification may be required.
• 2 years ICU or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Provide direct patient care and document physician-directed plans.
• Educate and support patient families and coordinate care with the team.
• Monitor and adjust critical equipment and interpret data displays.
• Communicate patient status and changes to families and team.
