Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a 13-week assignment in Oakland, Maryland. The role requires an active RN license and ICU experience, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour workweek. This travel position offers housing/travel support and benefits through ARMStaffing.

The RN will monitor critically ill patients, titrate drips, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Pediatric care may be required. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ICU experience is required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS - all from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Manage titratable and set rate drips including propofol, cardizem, insulin, and levo.
• Perform assessments, document findings, and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide care to pediatric patients when necessary.
• Float to med-surg as needed based on census.
