Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RN) for FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. Premium compensation and maximum flexibility are offered through FirstChoice RNs to fill short and long-term assignments across the health system.

Travel opportunities nationwide and regionally are available, with the option to float among hospital locations. This program provides premium pay, flexible scheduling, and learning opportunities to nurses willing to travel

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge & experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities

** Only for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area greater than 12 months in order to receive this rate. **

What you will do
