Job summary

StaffDNA seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our ICU team, providing critical respiratory care for patients with severe breathing disorders and life‑threatening conditions. You will employ advanced therapeutic interventions to optimize outcomes and support the multidisciplinary care team.

The role involves ventilator management, ABG analysis, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
• Experience in ICU settings and critical care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor ICU patients with respiratory conditions.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation per physician orders.
• Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and provide airway management as needed.
• Document treatments and patient progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use.
