Job Summary

Critical Care RN (Registered Nurse) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a general medical and surgical unit. Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in hand prior to submission, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical drips, vents, and prior ICU experience.
• Additional Information: The unit has 20 beds with staff including charge nurses, RNs, and licensed nursing assistants. Patient ratios vary based on acuity, utilizing equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry monitors, ventilators, and cardiac support devices. The unit maintains a generally organized workflow and accommodates every third weekend work schedule, with no on-call requirements.
