Job Summary

Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care at a medical center. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neuro, trauma, and medical ICU patients, with a focus on critical patient needs in an acuity-adaptable environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, and 3 to 5 years of critical care experience. Must pass a facility test with a score of 90% in cardiac rhythm knowledge.
• Preferred Qualifications: Step down, progressive care, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Care Advanced Registered Nurse (TCAR) certification.
• Additional Information: The unit is acuity adaptable, serving neuro, trauma, and medical ICU patients, along with step down and overflow medical patients. Candidates should demonstrate a hard-working, punctual, reliable, and outgoing personality. Proper scrubs in navy blue are required, with no sweatshirts or facial piercings that cannot be concealed. Multiple computer-based training modules will need to be completed prior to the first day.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
