Unit Specific DetailsUnit Size: 30 bedsPatient Population: Primarily MICU and SICU with some Neuro patients. Non-trauma ICU. All traumas stabilized and transferred out.Lines/Drains/Devices: Arterial lines, Central Lines, PICC lines, Ports.Airway: Vents, Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Nasal Cannulas.Drips: Heparin. Critical drips with routine titration.Ratios 1:1-3*Provider Coverage: Intensivist on staff during the day. Telemedicine intensivist for nights. Night shift utilizes hospitalist for intubations and escalation of care.Ancillary Staff: If census above 15 patients, unit can receive 1 patient care tech for support.
