American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN to work in ICU Stepdown Intermediate Care in Nashville, TN. Position requires a TN or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and Nursys verification.

Schedule includes 12-hour nights; 36 hours per week with potential 36 or 48-hour weeks and floating within 35 miles. Pay is weekly at $1,698 with a travel assignment of 13 weeks starting 01/11/2026, plus non-taxed per diem/subsidies and travel/licensure reimbursements.

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursys verification and license primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Copy of driver’s license required

• Patients age 18+ (young to late adults)
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2
• Team includes RNs and Patient Care Technicians
• Floating required within a 35-mile radius based on patient and staffing needs
• RN assumes full responsibility for assigned patients
• Contract extensions discussed with manager at least 45 days prior to end
• COVID-19 vaccination not required
• All positions are auto offer
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on state

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU Stepdown Intermediate Care position requiring a TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ICU Stepdown Intermediate Care unit
• Patient population includes adult cardiac cases such as myocardial infarction, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest
• Patients range in age from young adults to late adults (18+)
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2
• Team includes RNs and Patient Care Technicians
• Variable staffing grid based on patient census and acuity
• 36 or 48 hour work weeks with night shifts from 18:45-07:15
• Floating required between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius based on patient and staffing needs
• Notification given prior to scheduled shift if floating is required
• RN assumes full responsibility for assigned patients
• Extension of contract should be discussed with manager at least 45 days prior to contract end
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• All positions are auto offer
