Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

The nurse must hold an active RN license, have an accredited nursing degree, and current BLS and ACLS certifications along with 18 months ICU experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive credentialing coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to adult ICU patients.
• Monitor life support equipment such as ventilators and tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medications administered.
• Support emergent nursing procedures to control patient condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
