Qualifications
Must possess an active RN License.
Certification in BLS and ACLS is required.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting is essential.
Responsibilities
Manage care of adult patients with life-threatening problems.
Provide patient care and education to families.
Ensure proper function of life support equipment.
Observe patients for signs of distress.
Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters.
Document medication administration meticulously.
Assist in emergency procedures.
Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
