Job summary

usi+ is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer for a traveling, full-time role across TN, KY, NC, SC, AL, and GA. Schedule is 1st Shift 7am - 3:30pm with pay starting at $23/hr.

The candidate will install copper refrigerant linesets, wire low voltage controls, and perform startups for VRF, rooftop, and split systems, coordinating with project managers to meet timelines and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience (commercial preferred).
• Proficiency in copper brazing and pressure testing.
• Strong understanding of low voltage wiring and HVAC control systems.
• Experience with equipment startups and commissioning procedures.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install and braze copper refrigerant linesets with precision and leak-free integrity.
• Wire and terminate low voltage control systems (thermostats, sensors, controllers).
• Perform equipment startups for VRF systems, rooftop units, and split systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to meet installation timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and jobsite protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and startup procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues on-site.
