Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Travel Hospital Pharmacist for a night shift position in Tucson, AZ. The role involves safe and accurate distribution of medications, collaborating with physicians, and educating staff and patients.

The pharmacist must have an AZ license and over 3 years of experience in a high acuity acute care hospital, including NICU and cardiac cases. The shift will follow a 7on-7off rotation.

Qualifications

The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees and designated areas of the hospital. The Pharmacist practice shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal and DEA laws, TJC Standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities also include but are not limited to:

• collaboration with Physicians on drugs and dosing
• education of nursing staff, patients and physicians regarding medications
• Medication Safety initiatives
• patient profiles
• avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reaction
• mixing of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
• narcotic accountability

ORIENTATION/TRAINING to Start by 11/26/25 - Orientation schedule will be flexible and decided on between director and candidate.

Starting 12/26/25: rotation of 7 shifts on / 7 shifts off

Shift will be Wed - Tues

AZ License Required

Need to have 3+ years of Hospital Experience in High Acuity Acute Care Hospital which includes NICU Experience, Cardiac Cases such as Impella/ECMO
