Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Pharmacist in Macomb, Illinois to join a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week. Shifts include days and evenings. This travel position requires a pharmacy degree, hospital experience preferred, and active licensure or eligibility for licensure.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Prefer 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
• Pharmacist licensure in state applying or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Actively coordinate high quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients in compliance with federal/state regulations and standards.
• Involvement with multiple drug distribution functions including order entry and IV admixture preparation.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and staff to clarify orders and document interventions.
