Job summary

Amedisys Home Health seeks a registered nurse for an internal travel assignment across MA hospice locations. The nurse will travel regularly to provide patient care at agencies needing permanent staff, with food and hotel stipends and mileage reimbursement for overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Three years of RN experience in home health or hospice.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time by plane, train, or car.
• Current RN license for the state(s) assigned.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively across MA to support hospice locations.
• Perform initial nursing assessment on new admissions.
• Coordinate and revise the plan of care with the care team and physician.
• Communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and care team.
• Educate families on patient condition and care.
• Perform on-call responsibilities as assigned.
