Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Hospice RN for a 13-week travel assignment in De Pere, Wisconsin. You will provide compassionate end-of-life care in home or hospice settings, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comfort and dignity to patients.

The role requires an RN license, 1 year of RN experience (including 6 months in hospice), and BLS certification, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for travel professionals.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RN experience required, including at least six months in hospice as an RN.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations is required.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized hospice care plans with physicians and care teams.
• Administer pain management interventions and medications for patient comfort.
• Educate and support families on symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Monitor patient condition and adjust care to maintain quality of life.
• Coordinate care with hospice physicians, social workers, chaplains, and team members.
• Document care, symptom changes, and family interactions in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure adherence to hospice best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide emotional support to patients and loved ones during the end-of-life journey.
