Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Hospice RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Conway, South Carolina. You will provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients in homes or hospice settings, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support.

As part of our clinical team, you will coordinate care plans, educate families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients experience dignity and peace in their final stages.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RN experience, including a minimum of six months in hospice as an RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations (SC).
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized hospice care plans with physicians and care teams.
• Administer pain management interventions, medications, and treatments to ensure patient comfort.
• Educate and support families and caregivers on symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and adjust interventions to maintain quality of life.
• Coordinate care with hospice physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to provide holistic support.
• Document all care provided and symptom changes accurately and in compliance with hospice regulations.

  • Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
  • Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
