Trinity Health is seeking a locally based Registered Nurse for our FirstChoice mobile staffing program. Part-time assignments provide premium pay and maximum scheduling flexibility, traveling to patient homes across designated service areas.

The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve outcomes. A valid RN license, BLS, and 2+ years acute care experience are required; home care experience is a plus, and driving is involved.

Qualificações

• Current RN license in practicing state
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Home care experience preferred

What You Will Do

• Provide care across multiple patient homes within designated service areas or regions
• Incorporate and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge, and experience
• Retain accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (no flags or restrictions)
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience
• Current Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
• Home care experience preferred

Preferred Clinical Skills & Experience

• Foley and Supra Pubic Catheters – insertion, maintenance, troubleshooting
• Pleurex Catheters – drainage and site care
• Wound Care – including Wound V.A.C. therapy
• PICC Line Dressing Changes – sterile technique and site monitoring
• G-Tube Management – feeding, flushing, site care
• Medical Management – general patient care and chronic condition support
• IV Insertion and Administration
• Lab Draws – venipuncture and specimen handling
