Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Accomac, Virginia. The role involves direct patient care, developing a PT plan of care, and collaborating with the care team while traveling to facilities across the region.

The position requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (or a Bachelor's with NPTE), CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Start date 10/05/2026, 40 hours/week, days shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license or in process for licensure as a PT.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients for rehabilitation needs and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program aligned with physician orders.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families.
• Develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services per physician orders.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to meet patient goals.
