xAI is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Technician in Southaven, Mississippi. In this hands-on role, you will support the buildout and energization of our data centers, performing commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems. The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of medium voltage systems. You must work collaboratively with engineering, construction, and operations teams while adhering to strict safety protocols. A technical degree or equivalent certification is preferred. This is a full-time, onsite role with significant travel required.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on electrical commissioning or field technician experience in data centers.
Strong working knowledge of medium voltage systems and switchgear.
Current OSHA 10/30 or equivalent training.
Responsibilities
Execute electrical commissioning activities for various power distribution systems.
Perform point-to-point wiring checks and functional testing.
Collaborate with EPC contractors and xAI engineers.
Skills
Hands-on electrical commissioning experience
Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 V
Experience with commissioning test equipment
Ability to read electrical drawings
Safety mindset with OSHA training
Education
Technical degree or trade school certification in Electrical Engineering Technology
