Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN GI Lab for a travel nursing job in Southlake, Texas. This Endoscopy RN role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and certifications such as ACLS and BLS.

The assignment is 8 weeks, 36 hours per week, days shift, travel employment. The position supports endoscopy procedures, with responsibilities including patient care before, during, and after procedures, equipment decontamination, and safety.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standard of nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit following policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures with safe practice.
• Participate in care and maintenance of endoscopes and equipment with traceable decontamination records.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in the clinical area per established standards.
