Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Field Engineer to support on-site construction of multifamily developments across the U.S. You will help maintain schedules, budgets, quality and safety, while coordinating with project leadership and subcontractors on active sites.

The role offers hands-on field exposure, mentorship, and long-term development in construction management; relocation may be required as projects rotate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction terminology and field processes.
• Experience with Procore or similar software is a plus.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR and OSHA-30 within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site construction operations to keep schedule and budget on track.
• Coordinate material deliveries and logistics with trades.
• Oversee subcontractors and trade partners daily.
• Document safety and site progress with photos and reports.
• Assist project team to ensure quality and successful execution.
