Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The 13-week contract offers nights, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. The RN will deliver rapid-response care in a fast-paced ED, assess patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include 1 year ER experience, RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications. Additional certifications such as TNCC or NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during treatment.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and staff to ensure care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
