Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Beckley, West Virginia. The position requires an RN license, emergency department experience, and availability for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

The ideal candidate will have recent acute care ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications as needed, and the ability to work in a fast-paced trauma environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.
• 18+ months of ER/acute care experience; credentials may vary by facility.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize patients with trauma or illness.
• Provide emergency care and life-saving interventions.
• Perform triage and prioritize care based on medical need.
• Make rapid assessments of incoming patients including physical and mental health.
