Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Waterloo, IA. This 13-week travel position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. Start date 10/05/2026.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH). Travel RNs will assess and care for patients in a fast-paced ED, document histories, monitor vitals, and support families as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACL S/BLS/PALS/TNCC/ NIH certifications preferred.
• Emergency Department travel assignment with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical procedures and advise patients and families.
• Document medical history and allergies; monitor vital signs and patient well-being.
