Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Downey, California. The RN will work nights, 12-hour shifts, for 36 hours per week over a 15-week period, starting 12/14/2026.

Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant ER certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/NIH). Responsibilities include triage, assessment, and care planning in a busy ED, with documentation, patient education and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, CPI certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ER nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Triage patients and implement care according to physician orders.
• Document interventions and monitor patient status.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and ensure patient safety.
