Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Silvis, IL. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide high-quality emergency care, triage and treat patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ED environment. ER experience and active RN license are required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• ER RN with at least 1 year of recent experience in emergency departments.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current PALS or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients on arrival.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed meds per emergency protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document assessments and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and staff.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
