Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Statesboro, Georgia. This travel assignment offers a 13-week term with nights shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 1:4 patient ratio on a 29-bed unit plus 8 hallways.

The RN will provide high-quality emergency care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Required are an active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and completion of prior travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in Georgia.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience.
• Minimum 2 prior travel assignments completed.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and ESI level 5 training required.
• TNCC certification preferred. Cerner experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a 1:4 patient ratio on a 29-bed unit plus 8 hallways.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement care.
• Demonstrate clinical reasoning and critical thinking.
• Supervise assigned personnel in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
