Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing assignment in Lenexa, Kansas. The ER RN will evaluate and triage patients, implement care per physician orders, and document clinical information in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care ER experience and active nursing licenses. TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS, NIH and CPI certifications are preferred to meet job requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas.
• 1–2 years recent acute care ER experience required.
• Certifications: TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess incoming patients promptly.
• Provide Emergency Department care per physician instructions.
• Document patient history, vitals, and care provided.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
