Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Melrose, MN. The ER RN will evaluate and triage patients, administer care, and coordinate with the team to ensure prompt, quality treatment during a 13-week assignment.

Ideal candidates have ACLS, BLS, TNCC and 1–2 years of acute care experience, with the ability to work nights on 12-hour shifts. This travel opportunity includes a tax-free stipend and weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience in ER or similar setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and TNCC where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and vital signs accurately.
• Provide basic bedside care and wound care as needed.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes quickly.
• Coordinate with care teams to plan short- and long-term needs.
