Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. The assignment is 13 weeks long with a 36-hour work week and night shifts in the Emergency Department.

The position requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and 18 months of recent acute care ER experience. Additional requirements (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC) may be needed depending on the client facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Identify and treat life-threatening conditions quickly and accurately.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Provide care for patients from various illnesses or traumas in the ED.
