Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a travel assignment in Redding, California. This position features 12-hour night shifts, a 36-hour work week, and a travel employment arrangement with a start date to be determined.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS/NIH certifications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment. Benefits are offered as part of TotalMed RN travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH (NIHSS) - additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care according to physician instructions.
• Document medical history, allergies and patient vital signs.
• Provide bedside care, IV therapy and wound care.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; monitor patient conditions and progression.
