Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, primarily night shifts in the Emergency Department.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have a nursing degree from an accredited program, and meet the client facility’s requirements (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required). At least 18 months of acute care ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide emergency care and life-saving interventions as part of the ED team
