Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN in ED for a 13-week assignment in Cortez, Colorado. This ER position requires a strong emergency care foundation, Colorado RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, TNCC within 12 months, and PALS within 6 months (or 12 months for new grads), with a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per week.

Start date is 10/19/2026 and end date 01/18/2027. Benefits include housing or housing allowance, comprehensive health insurance, travel reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan to

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Colorado.
• BLS, ACLS within required timeframe.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire (or 12 months if new grad).
• PALS within 6 months of hire (or 12 months if new grad).
• 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the ER.
• Assess patient needs and assist physicians with procedures.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation.
