Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will join a top healthcare client for an 18-week assignment, working 36 hours per week on the night shift to deliver high-acuity emergency care.

Requirements include an active RN license and a nursing degree. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required; 18 months ER experience is preferred, with additional client-specific requirements possible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room RN provides care for patients with illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must recognize and treat life-threatening conditions
• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions
