Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Union, SC. Work nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced ED delivering urgent care and patient safety.

The ER RN will triage, administer treatments, collaborate with physicians and staff, and document care in EMR while meeting regulatory standards and providing compassionate care. Eligible candidates bring ER experience and valid RN license.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ER RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival based on condition severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety and document care in EMR.
