Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse to work in Quincy, IL. This role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and TNCC/NIH certifications. Travel position with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights is offered.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will evaluate, triage, and implement care following physician instructions in a fast-paced environment. You will document histories, monitor vitals, and support patients and families throughout care and discharge.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC certifications required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Provide bedside care and IV therapy.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; document medical history and care.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses, injuries, and discharge plans.
• Report any potential abuse to appropriate agencies.
