Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an Extended Assignment Travel RN in the Emergency Department to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced ED.

You will perform the nursing process, mentor staff, and participate in performance improvement and research utilization while ensuring regulatory compliance and resource management.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Associates, Diploma, or BSN)
• Certifications in BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Night shifts on a contingency basis

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) per evidence-based standards
• Foster effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Mentor staff and complete ongoing competency assessments
• Support performance improvement initiatives and research utilization
• Promote regulatory compliance and resource management within the ED
• Maintain commitment to excellence and cultural competence in a high-acuity setting
