Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Grand Marais, Minnesota. This assignment runs 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule.

The RN will need an active license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of ER acute care experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications may be required depending on the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illness with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health.
• Provide care for patients from various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
