Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse in Columbus, OH for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights. The ER RN should have 1-2 years of acute care experience and relevant certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIH). Immediate start available and competitive pay package.

The role involves triage, patient assessment, documentation, IV therapy and collaboration with a diverse care team to ensure patient safety and quality care in a high-demand ED setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Strong ability to evaluate, triage and implement care in a fast-paced ER.
• Must hold ACLS, BLS, PALS; NIH and CPI may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside ER care including wound care and IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment in a fast-paced setting.
• Document medical history, allergies, vital signs and patient status.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies as required.
