Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an Emergency Room travel nurse for Lenexa, Kansas. The ER RN will join a fast-paced team, performing triage, evaluations and care per physician orders. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential to support patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include 1-2 years of acute care experience and certifications (TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI). Travel assignments run 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ER travel RN certifications required (TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions.
• Perform minor procedures and advise patients and families.
• Document medical history, allergies and vital signs; monitor emotional and physical well-being.
