Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Farmington, Connecticut. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience and be prepared for a fast-paced ER environment.

ER Travel Nurse duties include triage, care planning, documentation and collaboration with a diverse team. 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week over 16 weeks with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Qualifications

• RN with ED/acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC and CPI certifications.
• 2+ years acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Care for patients in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Document medical history and vital signs; monitor patient condition.
• Provide bedside care, wound care and IV therapy as needed.
• Maintain supplies and report abuse to appropriate agencies.
