Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Pleasanton, CA. The RN will work 36 hours weekly on a night 12-hour shift and provide urgent care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include triage, bedside care, IV therapy, wound care, and documentation of patient histories and vital signs while ensuring patient safety and quality care. ACLS/BLS/PALS and other certs may be required prior to starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Other certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ER bedside care and triage patients.
• Assess, document medical history and vital signs.
• Administer care per physician orders and stay within protocols.
