Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Marshall, MI. You will deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, triage patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 1 year of ER experience, valid RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and a willingness to work nights and 36 hours weekly. Travel benefits and competitive pay are included by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

One year of recent ER RN experience.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity of condition.
Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing techniques and protocols.
Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED, addressing needs.
Document patient conditions and interventions in EMR.
Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, and staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
