Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department in Indiana, night shift. Requires IN or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year ER experience. Must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIHSS, and a valid driver's license.

This position features a 4x12 schedule (7P–7A), 30-bed ED, bedside care, Cerner EMR, and housing and licensure reimbursement options. Local candidates are not accepted; candidate must live more than 50 miles away. Generous benefits available from day one.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment
• Current driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting with 30 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift, 4x12s, 7P-7A
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients
• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Maximum RTO request of 1 week
• No blackout dates or required holidays specified
• Block scheduling is not an option
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
