Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Providence, RI. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered by the agency.

As an ER RN, you’ll triage, treat, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, while enjoying support from a dedicated clinical staff and access to licensure reimbursement and travel incentives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in RI or eligible
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
• One year ER RN experience preferred
• TNCC/NIHSS/NRP/SANE certifications considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients on arrival
• Explain procedures to patients and families
• Administer medications per protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians
• Monitor patient condition and document care
• Document assessments and outcomes in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics and staff
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
