Job summary

United Health Care Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (RN - ER) for a Bryan, TX assignment. This 13-week contract requires a Texas RN license, 2 years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS (TNCC preferred).

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• Minimum 2 years ER/ED nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS certification or facility-based requirement.
• TNCC certification preferred or required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and identify immediate clinical priorities.
• Conduct triage assessments and prioritize patients according to acuity and needs.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, neurological status, and pain levels.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist physicians with emergency procedures and treatments.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic testing, procedures, or transfer as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote patient safety and care continuity.
