Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED position in Yakima, Washington. The assignment features a Level III trauma center, 36 hours per week, and evening shifts in a busy emergency department environment.

The role requires ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications, with 2+ years in a high volume ED. Weekend rotation occurs every other week, no on-call requirement, and Epic EMR is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a large volume ED with high acuity patient care (per listing).
• Neonates to geriatrics ER experience a plus.
• EMR experience with Epic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including blood products and drips.
• Assist with trauma and code cases; prepare chest tubes and arterial lines.
• Provide triage, monitoring, and ED care across patient ages from neonates to geriatrics.
